The Coronado Golf Course is one of the City of Coronado’s most treasured assets. Opened in 1957, it is rated one of the best public golf courses in the nation. It is a favorite destination for local residents and celebrities alike. Located just minutes from downtown San Diego over the iconic San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge, it offers beautiful San Diego harbor and downtown views, and is sure to be a favorite destination for anyone that enjoys the game of golf.

The course measures 6,590 yards of blue tees and is a par 72. Immaculate greens, wide inviting fairways and dramatic views coupled with incomparable weather, make Coronado a must-play for all golfers’ year round. 

Boxed Lunch: A boxed lunch will be provided on each golf cart. Included: Artisan turkey sandwich, fresh fruit, chips, granola bar and bottled water. A vegetarian option is available upon request. Please specify when registering with ACPC.

Dress Code: 

  • Appropriate golf attire
  • Each player must have their own set of golf clubs.
  • Players should check-in 20 minutes prior to their reserved tee time.
  • Players are expected to support Pace of Play of 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Span the globe in one afternoon, viewing rare and intriguing wildlife from nearly every region of the world in just one location, the San Diego Zoo.  Known for its large, naturalistic enclosures.  Sit back in the comfort of their expedition cart, as you enjoy a 60-minute guided tour of the Zoo, led by one of their knowledgeable guides. As you explore the Zoo together, your guide will share stories about the plants and animals in our care, and how our conservation work is making an impact worldwide. Questions are encouraged! Step off the cart for a look at some of your favorite critters, and snap some amazing photos as you enjoy this unique behind the scenes Zoo experience.

This tour involves walking in some locations. Participants are encouraged to wear comfort able shoes and dress for the weather.

Take a step back in time as you climb aboard the USS Midway Museum – the longest-serving aircraft carrier in the 20th century! 

Once aboard you’ll enjoy a private docent-led tour of the ship’s many areas including the flight deck, hangar deck and below deck spaces. The docents are volunteers mostly having navy or military backgrounds that speak from experience and knowledge of the ship’s exciting history. USS Midway tours are one of the more unique and indigenous experiences offered in San Diego. 

After the docent-led tour, you are free to explore the rest of the Midway on your own. Grab your cameras, this is a unique opportunity you don’t want to forget!

Suggested Attire: Exploring the USS Midway can involve a lot of walking and navigating ladders. For your safety, we recommend comfortable, closed-toed shoes and layered clothing as temperatures vary around the ship. 

Entry Policies: All visitors are subject to a bag check before coming aboard the Midway. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: outside food/beverage, glass containers of any kind, pets, bicycles, skateboard/scooters, weapons of any kind.

On Tuesday, January 25 at 1 PM, we invite all members to join us for a brief 30 minute panel discussion about the origins of the Diversity Pledge and how a few of the pledgees are tackling this challenge. Following the panel, there will be an opportunity for networking and continued conversations to discuss in greater detail how pledgees are managing data, metrics and reporting, and efforts to work with underrepresented inventor groups all while enjoying two signature cocktails (Diversity Dreams and Inclusive Insights) and other light fare.
