The Association of Corporate Patent Counsel (ACPC) provides a unique and leading forum that brings together leaders of the corporate intellectual property operations of U.S. businesses to discuss issues of interest. ACPC meetings give participants the opportunity to interact with peers and exchange information regarding the management of intellectual property and intellectual property departments, as well as to discuss developments in the law from the perspective of the IP owner or user.

ACPC holds two National Meetings per year — one in January and one in June. The meeting kicks off with a Welcome Reception, great for informal and informative networking. Professional programming is held Monday through Wednesday mornings. Benchmarking Sessions are held on Tuesday afternoon, and additional networking and social engagement most evenings. National meetings are rounded out with evening social engagements, and additional activities such as a golf outing, afternoon networking breakout sessions, and activities that help attendees experience the host city.

ACPC allows Prospective Members who meet the regular member requirements to attend one National Meeting at the regular member rate before joining ACPC. When an individual decides to become a Regular Member after attending the Summer Meeting as a Prospective Member, ACPC will discount their member dues by 50% for the current year. And after an individual attends a Winter Meeting as a Prospective Member and subsequently decides to join, their dues will be discounted to 50% for the upcoming year!

In order to attend an upcoming meeting as a Prospective Member, please complete the Regular Member Application and indicate you are interested in attendance as a Prospective Member. The ACPC Executive Committee will review and confirm that you qualify for membership. Once it is confirmed that you qualify, ACPC will send you login information so you may register for the upcoming meeting.
