20525 ACPC 2022 Winter Meeting Website Header R2 2

ACPC is pleased to gather with its Chief Patent Counsel community for three days of in-person professional programming, networking, and social activities at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, CA, January 23-26, 2022.

The Program Committee, led by Glenn Edwards, developed a strong program with substantive presentations balanced by opportunities to interact with colleagues in meaningful ways.  The Winter Meeting offers optional social activities that include a golf outing, an inclusion and diversity panel and networking event, as well as sightseeing tours and more active experiences.

ACPC leaders and staff have worked closely with the venue to create an engaging and safe experience, in an environment that respects Covid protocols.  ACPC will continue to monitor recommendations from local, state and national Departments of Health related to the Covid virus as we move into the Winter months.

When registering for the Winter Meeting, you will be asked to verify that: 1) you are fully vaccinated, OR 2) that you will not attend unless you obtain a negative Covid test result within 72 hours of travel.  Masks will be required for indoor plenary sessions.  Outdoor meals and activities will be mask-optional.

The Hotel Del Coronado has safety protocols and guidelines in place to create a safe and enjoyable experience for their guests.  Adequate meeting space will allow for distanced seating during plenary sessions. All ACPC hosted breakfasts and receptions excluding the reception and dinner on Tuesday night will (weather permitting) take place outside. Masks will be optional for all outside functions and the dinner on Tuesday. While California does not have a mask mandate in place, the hotel strongly recommends their staff and guests wear masks indoors if not vaccinated.
