You’ve asked for team building activities in the post event evaluations, and ACPC is delivering! For the first time ACPC has planned a Scavenger Hunt in Washington, DC! You will be divided up into teams to hunt for objects and complete fun activities, all while taking in the sights of the National Mall.
Register! Don’t forget to sign up for the Scavenger Hunt when you register for the meeting so ACPC can assign you to a team. There is no charge to participate. Spouses and guests are welcome to participate.
Customizable for all! Everything is within walking distance from Hotel Washington. Each team can decide where to go and what to see. In case of rain or if you just need a break from the sun, there are plenty of points to be earned in the museums as well. So, bring your competitive spirit and be sure to pack your walking shoes, sunscreen and water bottle.
Don’t forget your smartphone! The scavenger hunt will utilize a smartphone app to connect teams, record/share proof of your points earned, and provide hunt support. Clues will vary from finding objects to executing fun activities.
Winners! The winners will be announced, stories/photos shared, and prizes awarded at dinner on Tuesday evening.
Seeing Washington, DC! Each scavenger hunt includes the top attractions, highlights, landmarks, historic sites, and fun interactive locations/items specific to the National Mall.
How to Play! The scavenger hunt includes a large list of hunt items/tasks with varying point values based on the difficulty of finding the item or completing the task. The greater the find, the greater the points earned. The hunt doesn’t have a set path. Instead, each individual team will decide where you want to go and when. You will determine your own team strategy and choose which location(s) you want to see and experience.
